I feel obliged to point this out, because
it bothers me to some extent or another.
Disclaimer: I agree with your views on
induction, I just think this is wierd.

I'm a ranger in Sylvan right now and to be
perfectly honest, I can't do dick to "protect"
the wilds. I can herb things and absolutely
nothing more.

Obivously a ranger is a bit different than a
shaman due to the basis of their skills and
all, but also do to those skills, a ranger
is walking death in the forest compared to a
shaman until around 40. After that, the
classes are more or less equal in terms of
forest "protection", with a shaman simply
being more powerful on the offensive end.

Its a double standard, I know. I even some
what agree with it, but for those of you
considering joining Sylvan, I offer this
advice:

Sylvan rangers and Sylvan druids can kill
awful well, in many cases more easily than
shamans can.
