Actually the argument here is regarding to what occured. I've never As a player I could care little, because Ag already said this is Can I disagree, Gathen?
"purge" was an utter and complete farce. With the exception of a
few people the major players in the last struggle for the throne
were all let back in. As a sign of weakness, Agorinth anathema'd
himself (at least that is how I would interpret it), and somehow
becomes emperor. It's seems to me that his return to the Empire
was as Knightish/Servant of the Dawnish as some of the other
shit that was going on in the Empire. Tur probably showed more
compassion than Raisa/Cador combined when it came down to there
being a 'weak' knight.
>Agorinth was the strongest for the job, so he became Emperor. Why? Because the Immortals decreed it so... why is there an argument?
If Genofen had anathema'd him in the midst of the crap that was
going on, there'd be no argument from me, but Agorinth did it to
himself.
said that either of these two were incapable, but the way the story
occured, I believe Agorinth was a poor choice for Emperor. In reality,
what dead flesh was cut away? A bunch of worthless underlings? As I
said before many of the major players returned to the cabal.
what he wanted to do, and when a player meets the goal he set out
to achieve, hey that's great. But in a storyline sense, I'm not sure
I agree with what happened.
