Yes it is someone's perogative to tell every member of their cabal how to get through a certain area. Unfortunately it is also Scarabaeus's perogative to close Hell because he is sick of rewriting all the puzzles every few months to keep it fresh. Nobody wins when that happens, but so far it doesn't look like that will happen here.
