If that's the most upsetting thing to happen to you in CF, count yourself as lucky.

[Situation that was already described on this forum deleted]

There's a WORLD of difference between mistaken and corrupt. This sounds more like a mistake.

Corruption, to me, is when:

1) an Arbiter does not place a flag when he knows a law has been broken.

2) an Arbiter removes a flag from someone (for payment, for favours, because he's a friend, etc.)

3) an Arbiter flags someone when they know that this person has not broken a law in an attempt to get revenge, get equipment, etc.

Now, I agree that sometimes a mistake and #3 look much alike when you're on the receiving end, but they aren't. It's all about intent; did they do their best and screw up, or set out to do what they wanted no matter what was right? From everything you've said on this forum, it sounded like it was the former (the Arbiter was confused by a dopple) rather than the latter.

As for you telling them that you didn't do it and expecting it to make a difference... guess what? EVERYONE says that they didn't do it in the hopes of getting the Arbiter to remove the flag. People that I've known to be 100% guilty (in one case, I was standing duo right by the person he attacked) have argued with me for over 30 minutes to try and get the flag removed. An innocent person arguing that I'm corrupt doesn't look a lot different from a guilty person arguing that I'm corrupt.

Well, they have an interview, and they seem to know what they are talking about, know the Laws, and be able to use their brain. Or sometimes, they can't but we let them in anyway. Is that what you wanted for your friend Raythgar -- for me to let him in despite the fact that he didn't seem up to snuff?

> If i was an arbiter.. and someone told me he got pked in town

Everyone likes to think that if THEY were an Arbiter, THEY wouldn't make any of these mistakes. Guess what? It never quite works out that way...

> AND IF someone ( a victim ) BITCH and BITCH
> to me.. that s someone that s been WRONGED
> and i would also be biased toward him.

I'm missing something here; are you biased towards the bitching victim who says he's wrongfully flagged (i.e. you like him more) or biased against him?

If you are telling me the former -- that a person bitching and whining at you incessantly would make you want to remove their flag -- then you've got a weird way of looking at the world.
