I don't think it's possible to miss a point any better than you have in this post.:

So if the tank in a paladins group gets hit for 100 hp of damage the paladin absorbs 50hp of it and the tank gets the remaining 50hp. Great for ranking as well as pk'ing. Paladin has to be in the same room as the person receiving the damage.

Sure, you could do it either way, but it'd be a lot cooler and interesting to see it done my way. To me it's more fun to see something like "An undead trollocs slash MUTILATES WarriorX! PaladinZ feels the pain of WarriorX as an undead trolloc MUTILATES him!" rather than "PaladinZ invigorates WarriorX, lending him his strength." blah blah blah.

> > -Divine Intervention- A commune that allows the paladin to be aware of what somebody is going to do before they do it in combat. For example, if the paladin is fighting a thief the paladin will know when a thief is about to trip due to some unseen divine force and will hop over the trip striking a hefty retaliatory blow. It's an automatic skill but the commune has to be up, kind of like spellbane is automatic but the rager has to have it up for it to work.

> Paladins are not mind readers not gods should give them such powers.

Why not? People in real life always do things because their God tells them to. "God told me that he had a knife and was going to stab me, and God's words and warnings gave me the ability to react quicker." It doesn't seem that far fetched that a God would be whispering in the head of their most devout followers, sharing their omniscience with them. Again, my way and the emotes and so forth that would go along with it would be a lot cooler.

> > -Also, make some of their abilities more aesthetically pleasing with some added bonuses. For example, the druid doesn't have protective shield but he does have armor of thorns, which would make sense for a druid. The paladin needs some things like this that would make sense for a paladin to have, meanwhile making it a more interesting class to play.

> Ia give them some choices how they could fight - not nessesarily new powers.

What?

> > Shaman are kinda in the same boat, however, they really don't need any power boosts, they just need to be made more aesthetically pleasing and fun to play. ALSO, good shamans should have a set of communes that evil shamans don't and vice versa, even if they're the same communes just aesthetically different to fit the align.

> Fun to play is depent on how do you play not how many different powers do you have.
> Agree on second : for example take out demonfire from good shamans. What a heck a they be able to use it ?

*boggle* *translate* *process* Would bloodlust of the twelve fiends be as cool if it didn't have the emote that goes along with it? I think not, and that's my point, not that shaman need more powers in order to be fun to play, only that their powers should be restrung so that their a lot more involved than they are already.

Simple answer, you force the visions of the families of the paladins that they've slaughtered into their minds, making them feel ashamed of themself for bringing so much pain to a family that hasn't done anything wrong.

> > -Convert-Only useable to start combat, and lasts maybe 1 tick. Momentarily changes the alignment of the opposition to neutral. This causes any anti-neutral or evil-only gear to zap the foe and be placed into their inventory, regardless of whether their inventory is full or not.

> *crap*

Your way will never happen(not like mine would) because there's too many opportunities for abuse, this has been said before.

> > Evil Shaman:

> > -Black Mass-Useable only in a designated "evil" area (ie Udgaard). This ability calls several of the least powerful mobs in a designated "evil" area to aid him. The mobs won't follow the shaman into any other room but the one he calls them from. The mobs come to hear the shaman preach, and will assist him if the shaman becomes engaged in combat in that room. They'll automatically rescue the shaman out of combat. For example, if the shaman communes this in the forest of nowhere, 5 bloodbeasts will come and listen to him preach. The shaman summons some fool to him and attacks. The bloodbeasts will also attack the fool, rescuing the shaman. If the fool flees though, the bloodbeasts won't track and won't follow the shaman after he leaves.

> Well what about giving them evil charmie for some short time for task to perform in name of their

> Like loosing huge piles of exps or if you abuse that ability to call mobs - powers.

Because that would be robbing conjurers of their uniqueness which is not something that will ever be done. Again my idea is unique in its own way, thus not stealing from any other class/cabal.

> > -Stigmata-(that movie is going to kick ass)

If the bleeding occurs in the palms the person might be forced to drop whatever they wield or hold. If the bleeding occurs on their feet their dexterity is greatly reduced and they can't trip or dirt kick. If the bleeding occurs in their eyes they can't see. Minor bleeding every tick as well, reducing hp by 10 or so.

> nah : shamans have plague/poison/what ever. - it is practicaly the same.

Again, it's much cooler to see

"ShamanX glares at MoronB, causing severe bleeding in his eyes!"

rather than

"ShamanX glares at MoronB."
"MoronB appears to be blinded."

I'm not suggesting that my ideas be stacked on top of the powers that already exist, rather they be expansions of the already existent powers, much like armor of thorns is an expansion of protective shield.
