I always wanted to send my ap into the blades.. the black sect's powers just plain bite. All you really get out of the deal is slightly improved summoning, and resistance to summoning. Personally I'd trade that anyday for shove and imperial training (Nightfist isn't awful either). Now that I'm on the subject, necro's might favor going into the arcane sect also. After all, they really don't need the black circle because of spellcraft. Dark feast is useless for everyone, and power of the damned just isn't worth missing out on orderly mind and volley from the point of view of a necro. Evoke might be kind of spiffy for liches too... dont' have to hold those phalacracies (sp?) anymore, just evoke 'em. BTW, do bards have a place to go yet? or are they still without a sect? Might be a good time to replace the black sect with one for bards, rangers and even druids (though why and how one would get into empire is beyond me, but might as well have a place for all possibilites). Then again, if it's not broke, don't fix it. ...Rome...
