Um. Shadow was often the worst role-played cabal. By virtue of the fact that no one could keep their mouths shut and it was inherently non-secret.

You could apply, you just sent notes to any of the Shadow Immortals and ended up talking to Shadow mortals anyway. And defending the Shadow cabal well, sort of gave you away.

Um, that's still true. Top of that list would have to be the recently added and much loved nightgaunt attacks.
