Why is it that all these posts talk about how unfair one As for necros and liches, I've died to plenty. I don't necessarily think that my comments are Anyway, I don't think there is a point to this whole rant other
class is, how overpowered one Cabal is, how shitty
some other Cabal is? Come on people...do you
really believe that the IMPS and IMMS who spend
more time with and on this game than any of us
would purposely make the game unbalanced? As
far as I know, they play mortals too...it
wouldn't be fun for them to have this class or
that Cabal out of balance. I for one believe
that while when new things are added there may be
a "shaking out" period when unforseen occurrences
happen that require a tweek here or there, but
I refuse to believe that the whole game is a
huge lopsided affair with the IMMs sitting up
there laughing at us playing some horribly
underpowered class/cabal.
But I wouldn't change the liches at all. Yeah,
in all my hours I've only seen Draktha die once
with my own eyes, but it seems that lichdom is
a reward for excellent roleplay. I'm not a
great roleplayer, and I freely admit that. I
get frustrated and sometimes slip into modern
type speech, but I'm working on it, and I think
that I've gotten a bit better.
going to carry much, if any weight to anyone.
Everyone knows Raztibelt is just a shitty
Ranger Dawnite. But that leads me to another
point that I see a lot (although not as much
recently). The whole its no fun to play goodies
or goodies suck compared to evils. I don't buy that
one either. It just makes no sense why the IMMs
would do that. I've played just about every
class (with a few notable mage exceptions) and
I've played both good and evil...except for a
Shadow thief I had long ago, I've always preferred
my goodies over the evils. I find it more of a
challenge to play. They are harder to play.
to say that I think its completely idiotic to
believe that the IMMs would allow a game imbalance
to continue or, worse yet, make the game
imbalanced.
