To master dodge and shield block, I went to the kobolds, and gathered all of them together when I was rank 3 and sat there with no weapon (so that I wouldn't kill them, and I also had a tough kobold doing the tanking for them) and just sat there until I was at about 15% hp left, then flee, run to the other end and the other side of the caves, hide, and rest until they got back to me again or until I was back to full health. To master parry once I got it, I went to FoN and gathered up every blood best, angno, nasstok, laxian, tiny guardian, small guardian, medium guardian, I could find, with 4 or 5 large guardians to take the damage, and sat there with 65 mobs attacking me at once (by the time I got parry, I was way too old to to practice on kobolds.) Parry learns best with a weapon that you are more skilled in. That's why I had to use the large guardians take the damage. If a large guardian would start getting close to death, I'd start aiming at a different one that wasn't so close. Sometimes, I ended up killing all the larges so then I would just flee and go get some more. I think I mastered parry in about 30 min and that's with a svirf of max int, which isn't too terribly high. I think it's like one point higher than a fire giant. Also, I used my shield some times to reduce the damage I took, but that also reduced the amount I parried.
