I've had a tattooed thief and empowered paladin
before and neither were as difficult and boring
as the last two empowerment characters I've tried.
I just deleted my attempt at a paladin for the sole
reason of boredom. I love to rolepay so it's not
difficult for me to pick a role and stick with it.
This thing of sitting in a shrine and praying, not
knowing if the god is around is almost as boring
as being stuck in an endless sleep from gas in the
jade tombs. At least there my character could talk
to his groupmates.
It's not a whole lot of fun to sit in an empty
shrine roleplaying with the mobs or by myself.
I can't imagine creating another empowermed
character. I love the idea of a character blessed
by their god, going about the land spreading the
teachings of that god and being an extention of the
religion. I just wanted to echo the sentiments it
seems most have about empowerment. As far as those
who say there shouldn't be as many clerics as there
are dockworkers I agree, but how about more than four
or five of worth at any given time. The sad thing is
that isn't even from each god. I wish I had some ideas
on how to improve it, but well I don't, but I'm sure
someone will think of a few good ideas.
