I don't know about the other Apostles but in the beginning I had a HARD time
understanding why a Maran would want to be a Servant. I probably would have flat
out rejected them if Shokai's religion hadn't covered sphere protection at the
time. Being a Maran comes before anything else.. duties as a Servant would just
get in the way.

Perhaps a power that let's you determine the alignment of the person you are going
to help from a distance might help?

I am thinking of that line from Spaceballs that Kah said once on the forum. Evil will win
because good is dumb. I happen to like the Haven because it's something totally different
from the normal hack and slash cabal system. Paladins have the short end of the stick, but
if you're creative they can still be effective.

The only good advice I've really heard Arolin spout is that he plays warriors as if he were
a mage. Do the same thing with paladins.

If you are a Maran, you have help on the way. For the love of Shokai, seek them out. Who says
you have to sit on your ass and take it in the pants. Seek them out.. talk to them... prepare.. and when the
time is right who knows maybe the Maran will be a force to reckon with.
