Well, my guess ( And it is ONLY A COMPLETELY UNINFORMED GUESS) is that Mr. Warren pretended to be something ( or at least some gender) that he really isn't. I'm assuming that he then attempted to start an internet (meaning, of course Real Life) friendship/romance with certain folk(s) associated with CF. With this in mind, reading the comments in the thread fit. If true, this would truly (in my OPINION) qualify someone known as CW as having honest mental issues that should probably be addressed, regarding deception and trust - as well as basic respect.

The above is all a complete GUESS on my part. Don't sue me.
