As I said in my response to The Arcane's post, I could not agree with you more. But remember, I already adressed this in my original post, in that same site/irc/icq linked people violate rule number 2, as I outlined.
That's cheating. It is using ooc means of efficiency that no ic people could manage. Like I said, there are two rules: 1. create and play a character, and be that character. and 2. no using ooc knowlege/power/abilities. What you speak of falls squarely into #2 and I could not agree with you more.
It is not, however, what I meant to address. I am, philosophically, giving everyone the benefit of the doubt as far as this thread goes, and starting from the presumption that the two rules will be followed. Having said that (and knowing that such cheating goes on anyway), my point was that gangbanging is perfectly fine, if that's what floats your boat.
I must say, I am glad the forum can be used for this type of thoughtful discussion, rather than the name calling and rather inartful insults that has often characterized it's posts.
