It depends really. Do you want the most for your trains? I'd go mana. With transform, you'll be doubling your training efforts, ie (+10 mana = +7.5/10hp) while just training hp's will increase your base. If you think you're going to have the orb most of the time, I'd definitely train mana, otherwise, a split between them might also be good. It really all depends on you. I personally would put it all into mana *wink*.
