Let me quote Mithadris' post:
"(Not to mention the Archmage is easily solod by a hero Berserke, while the Destructor will take a strong, well-equipped Conjurer) ... ragers can not gang was balanced by their quite strong powers."
1. It takes no stretch of the imagination to understand that this is a "whine/complaint/bitch/whatever your word of choice is" about balance as much as Roleplaying. You can ignore everything in his post and disagree, fine.
2. I feel Mithadris is totally justified in being pissed off that he's being ganged.
3. I *felt* Mithadris was taking a cheap and unnecessary character-assassinating shot by bringing his pissed offness to the forum rather than in the game. (until I realized he was just venting and posted only out of immediate frustration.)
4. I feel that whining and bitching about someone else's Roleplaying on this forum is stupid for three reasons:
A. It does as much good as whining and bitching about Arbiter roleplaying on the forum. And how much good does *that* do, Grallon?
B. It is volatile and ugly, and makes the other person pissed off outside of his character -- how did you feel when you and the Arbiters were subject to intense and stupid whining on the forum, Grallon?
C. No one's roleplaying is beyond belief. Anyone can pick apart anyone else's roleplaying. My roleplaying got picked on by "Oldtimer". I could pick on yours. Or Mithadris'. Etc.
5. No amount of bitching/whining/whatever your word of choice here on the forum is going to do shit on the game. Or, *worse*, Grallon, it *will* do shit on the game. It *will* influence someone's opinion of your character. Someone's misinformed flaming on this OOC forum *might* have an impact. (eg.. Woru's "trial by forum" or Athrakagar's "trial by forum" -- rants and whines here might make it impossible or completely unenjoyable to play your character). Either way, it sucks. You didn't like it when others did it to you, and I wish you'd recognize that and not do it to others.
