Let's see: you didn't introduce yourself, you didn't bother to look at his description, you started out rudely ("Why water?"), you didn't answer his question ("How much will you pay me?"), you're evil, and he's obviously not good from his gear. Then you proceeded to make insulting remarks. Sure, that's in your roleplay, but if I were that conjurer, I wouldn't waste my time talking to you. I would not be surprised if you now have a small vendetta against you.
