You're taking an elitist attitude about tactics, not secrets. There's a line between tactical knowledge and secretive knowledge. By talking about how to fight nightgaunts, you're not revealing any secrets, only game mechanics, like how to avoid bashing, tripping, etc. Its the exact same thing, discussing tactics.
