how did this happen?

Your claw *** DEMOLISHES *** someone!
someone's slice DISMEMBERS you!
Your land a lucky blow!
Your punch MANGLES someone!

Now I didn't revert or anything, just fled when he hit me. And even if I had reverted, I was still wielding a weapon. I noted that spelling mistake as well. Any explainations? for the punch, not the spelling mistake :)
