Along the Eastern Road
You are walking along a wide road through the countryside. The land
here on the eastern side of the Erinin is not nearly as fertile as
that on the opposite bank, and you notice very few farms here. Those
that you do see are fairly small, and far between. Most of them look
to be deserted. You see a few broken windows, and here and there an
untended field. On one of the fences, a raven perches, seemingly
intent on watching you. A small breeze blows hauntingly through the
seemingly empty farmhouses, giving the place an eerie feel. Far to
the south, an immense forest of short, stubby trees dominates the
horizon. Here and there you pass travellers heading to Galadon, and
the occasional caravan laden with goods to be shipped from the ports
of New Thalos. The merchants and travellers seem to pass you by with
barely a glance. The road continues to the east and west.

see the Eastern Road meets up with two other roads to form a large
crossroads. The Eastern Road continues through the countryside to the
east, and the crossroads lies west.
