True.

> Also, despite what Etherian said, I can see why you blinded (so he couldn't redirect/initiate) and at that moment when he was whacking the guards it's not a waste of time, in my humble and often wrong opinion.

Also true. Would've been good to then summon elsewhere. Blinded and summoned = trouble.

> That being said, 1. I think rot was a waste of two rounds,

Rot is never a waste of two rounds. Especially since it killed him. It has benefits beyond con-death, bucko.

in favor of something else you might have been able to do to disarm him, like wither/weak/pois.,

Not much point. In theory, and in practice, the way things worked out he was able to get away, and safely back to the village. With bloodthirst to negate movement factors, his first concern should have been preventing escape.

2. RBW's are pretty tough one on one without protections/mobs (get some), and 3. they were right: go for Aradan. As a Maran shaman, you're a lone, lean pirate cutter plying the Theran seas, the RBW is a British frigate, and the multitudes of Imperials and evil masters are like big juicy merchantmen just waiting to be plundered. Go plunder. Just my unasked-for and unneeded opinion.

I agree with you here.

In summary, he should've been flying. For a cheap trick the rot was a good move, but it should've been followed by summons, and preparations to reblind once he truesighted. Any idiot, when fighting the enforcer and suddenly blinded/rotted is going to haul ass. Taking the weapon off wouldn't have made a difference. Point of fact, if he was tougher and simply went right for the weapon... the rager would've hauled ass. Again, no kill.
