1. What was Jheriohn doing for six rounds? It looks like he was just standing there doing absolutely nothing while you were being pounded. Twiddling his thumbs, even.
2. Assuming he was blinded (so couldn't attack) and tiger clawed (so he couldn't sing) and not grouped with you (so he couldn't autoassist and roundhouse/trip).. well, all those maledicts on him are a good reason for him to move one South and you to cleanse him there, or to group before you go to the Vanquisher.
3. You were being pounded by three people and *desperately* trying to flee. *Desperately* and failing. Have to wonder why he went for two when's and a life's tomb and not nightmare, especially instead of the tomb.
Anyway, I can't see much else Chaldaie could have done given her role as a Servant, her refusal to leave Jheriohn there alone, and her inability to flee from the Vanquisher, except if all those things in (2) are what happened to Jheriohn, they probably should have grouped first or he leaves the immediate area of the Vanquisher - regardless, the bard could have shifted it.
Anyway, you can second guess anything in hindsight, so I don't mean it as a criticism, just trying to be helpful.
