The are allowed to use equipment with magical flags. Unless it actually casts magic, it is ok. I suppose the main reason is most of these items were created by the gods. Ragers are not opposed to the magic of the gods. Now an item that was enchanted by a mage isn't really magically. It was just changed by the mage. Made stronger or weaker. It doesn't make the item magic. The process was magical, but the item is not. Take a chemist altering the atomic structure of steel by adding chemicals to the item. The rager would say the process of using these unstable chemicals is magic, but the item would not be magical. Just altered. Whether for better or worse, the rager does not care. He knows the item was touched by a mage, but it doesn't mean it is going to stop using it. A rager is about stopping the spread of magic. The item maybe tainted by a mage, but it is not going to spread magic unless it casts a spell or something.

That is the best I can explain. Anyone care to help out?
