Djem's legs were bound. When your legs are bound, being hit has a chance of knocking you over. This doesn't lag you inherently, but a thief can cheap shot this...

Two ===OBLITs is closer to 450 than 650. So he has abot 1k max hp, which is hardly unreasonable at hero.

Cagntaen was a felar, and thus couldn't dual wield anything. If he backstabbed, he used a dagger. A regular thief can backstab while dual wielding so long as either of their weapons is a dagger. If you wield a mace/dagger, and dual BS someone, both hits are coming from your offhand dagger.
