> You obviously have all you defenses maxed. I am sure he doesn't have staff and hand to hand mastered yet, nor his defenses. For some reason assassins seem to learn faster at level 11-20 than a warrior. Rank up to a little more and warriors will be a different ball game.

The difference in dodging/parrying you see here might have a lot to do with a dex difference. The attacking assassin is a felar, although the weapon he's using is unknown. ("slash" means it probably isn't a staff.) The warrior was killing battlement guards solo, and may well have been wielding the practice weapons. Plus, the warrior spammed kick, of all skills. Dirt/disarm works quite well at the lower ranks. At the very least, a good dirt gives you a tick to run.

If, as you suggest, both the assassin and warrior rank up a little more, you will see how fast kotegaeshi could decide this fight. Starting around the 20's, assassins are not the class a warrior wants to be fighting, unless they spec in axes or maces. At the lower ranks, the warrior should win stand-up brawls like this one, especially if the warrior is clever enough to carry an axe (or other weapon that assassins won't parry well.)

Skills obviously factor in, but the warrior did a number of things wrong, and reacted like a child. If you insist on practicing fighting skills on the battlements of Galadon, don't complain when you get ganked. It's -the- most obvious place.
