It was pointed out that the Paladin Code has nothing to do with Honor, but it does mention Courage. That's fine. However, please note that "courage" is mentioned in direct relation to not leaving fallen comrades behind. As I see it, that only means "don't leave because you might die if it would endanger your friends."

It constantly amazes me that people expect good-aligned people to all act like they were Selric/Galadriel following Servants of the Dawn. We're not. That's why there's a cabal devoted to helping/aiding the Light, and why there are specific religions that preach pacifism (some to a greater extent than others, of course). A follower of Shokai would see this as bringing the righteous wrath of "the Light" on you, whereas I would have expected a follower of Balgrimnr to attack the OTHER paladins for being so hideously dishonorable. Or, it might be a Nepenthe paladin who's religion doesn't even hint at their feelings on Honor (dedication to a cause... but exactly what cause it might be, you don't know).

Beyond that, you're an anti-paladin. I would expect ANY paladin to want to trounce you with odds of 20-1, if their religion allowed it.

Continuing on, we never summoned you. After that first fight it was never more than three of us together that actually fought you because everyone was running out of movement points (and the other three, I think, went back to levelling... it was a premptive strike). I know that I, personally, after that first fight was running around by myself trying to track you down and only one other time we all happened to attack at the same time.

In any event, perhaps in the future you will be a little more wary of good-aligned people and not just assume them all to have a fetish for honor. It doesn't seem as though you were attempting anything except character bashing, but I hope my response may have educated you a little bit and provided you with a better understanding of paladins (which, by the way, this whole aspect of them hasn't changed... it was ALWAYS the religion that determined if they were honorable, not just being a paladin).
