Have always felt that the Tower wasn't about destroying magic, but preventing the warders from creating their 'Utopia', which would break down the strength of the magical weave in Thera, causing magic to wane. I suppose some of the Tower might want a totally magical realm (far different and removed from the ordinary needs of eating, drinking and visiting the privy).

Anyway, where are you? Haven't seen you in the cf channel for a while now.
