We didn't want to see Lancelot the Paladin (yes I know, him and Percival have both existed.), because it's impossible to truely roleplay Lancelot in the CF setting (you're going to lose at some point...face it)...we wanted people to roleplay thier characters by thier own means, not fall back on a well known person/character/story/myth/dog/lizard/etc for thier roleplay.
