It's an imperfect system...hell, Shokai means 'begining' or 'first' in Japanese (though I didn't know that when I rolled him up)...some names slide through, for various reasons. As Khiravn said 'it's a crap shoot' some people get lucky...as to why Thror is still around? He's an immortal...and before someone out there jumps on the 'you should play by the same rules we have to'...we do. I'm almost positive me or someone else has gone into the full length of this arguement before...do a forum search and see what you find...before you decide to debate this issue much more.
