Names like those were from another age, where there wasn't so much pressure on originality and 'proper' fantasy names. I mean.. Twist? Ghostrider? Admiral? Bitch?
Nighthawk? Truck?

About the only names that were half decent under the present standard were Saher and Tenfan as I remember. And Strath I suppose. Even Cador is from Arthurian legend.

Lancelot came into being at a time when the anti-paladins ruled the mud back then, Kryldor, etc, and what few paladins there were.. well, got beat them pretty badly. He still has his ring somewhere about, even though his sword is broken in the NT AP guild. Barring the fall from grace, I had my happiest times with him.
