If you have a held victim, the only thing that's going to save them is a wimpy. A successful lash keeps them fighting for two rounds, wimpy or not. If it works, you're golden.

Of course, lash is notorious for being unreliable. This makes lash a risky plan, but not necessarily a stupid one. When a lash finally does land, two rounds with servitors (who have lagging attacks of their own) is likely enough. Also note that the conjie doesn't know how long the victim is held for.

Not that I know crap about conjurers, but I would have probably gone the safe route and magic missiled. The correct answer is, nonetheless, not obvious unless you know how many ticks of hold your victim has left.

(I'm assuming that the conjie didn't have any handy high-damage magical devices readied.)
