there's a number of strategies for killing conjurers. One of them involves that. I would wager your best bet as a warrior would be to be protected a whole lot, fight them with a weapon they don't know, and drive them away from their servitor ASAP. They'll most likely flee after that, as it takes their servitors time to adjust to where the conjurer is.
