It wasn't me that was looking for the fight. I was trying to keep it from happening. As I said, my options where end it in peace or die defending Sladin.

Agreed. I would hope Immortal rules would prevent him from going against his word, but as RP goes, it was legit, I just pointed out to him that he went against his word. Sladin lost the fight both because his ignorance pitted him against a diety in the first place, and because he was ignorant of what Astein could do. I only Rp'ed through it, never expected it to actually become a fight.

I agree. There isn't much I can do about it, and I said nothing about it. I nodded to Sladin because at this point he realized what he had really gotten himself into. When I said i thought it was well RP'ed, perhaps I failed to also point out that I did not enjoy anything that was OOC and that there were exceptions to the situation that I disapproved of.(see previous post about enjoying the situation and thinking it was well rp'ed...)
> 3) "say I would have kileld you long ago" is a pretty silly thing to say to a god. Of course he's powerful.
Again, you are correct. It is also childish and petty. I cannot knows Sladin's role though. Let us focus on mine in the situation. I was there as a peacekeeper, as my role dictates. I offered my life/empowerment/soul/servitude to astein if he would allow me to take sladin's punishment. I would have rather liked if he would have accepted this. it would have done two things. It would have shown Sladin that his actions were wrong because he failed to realize the possible consequences of them, and would feel guilt about putting others in jeapordy. he wouldn't make that mistake again. And it would have afforded me some of that Imm interaction we all crave.
Asteins answer was of course to kill him. Angered by this and sticking to my word, I died defending him. All in all, I don't think I broke my role at all. Sladin...you have a tendency to say some OOC things like "I stalked so and so forty times and he left the realm just before I could assassinate him" over the cb channel. Don't do that. While it isn't horrible, it is more or less OOC, and is frowned upon. I have enjoyed the interaction I have with your character, and it would be even better if the OOC stuff was cut from it. Instead of saying, "Drop your immortal life," try something like, "So you fear me enough to use the powers the heavens have granted you and cannot face me with the abilities you once knew as a mortal."
Just friendly advice, and I don't ever mean to aggravate anyone with what I say. We all make mistakes at somepoint (ie my saying shrug instead of emoting it, and yes, I felt like an idiot) I appreciate your points PB, I just don't think they apply to me in particular. Hopefully those that truly need to listen and adhere to them will take them into account.
