About a half-dozen of you have been hearing about "picking up the fire" lately. This is where it comes from.
Having found the corpses of several strange creatures in the Frigid Wastes, a young dawn healer calls in the big guns -- a dangerous strike force of Dawn and Entropy. Here's what happens.
A sparse trail in the frigid wasteland

The trail ranger says 'with a bunch of little six leg guys'
Talienthias nods at the trail ranger.

You say 'Striders, they are'
Talienthias says 'He's seen him.'
The trail ranger says 'I'd ask Nasturn if you want to know about why it's so
cold'
Caslenn says 'Oh whos he you know?'
The trail ranger says 'the six leg guys all died, seems like'
Talienthias nods.
Grylon nods.
You say 'Aye'
Akashia concentrates for a moment and bandages her wounds.
The trail ranger says 'Nasturn is the minotaur druid... he's around here,
somewhere'
Talienthias says 'I believe Nasturn is the leader of the rangers guild.'
Grylon blinks innocently.
Talienthias nods at the trail ranger.
Talienthias bows before the trail ranger.
Caslenn says 'Oh that might be him you know.'

wastes tower by tower'

Grylon gallantly tips his hat to the trail ranger.

he team wanders around the FW lost for some time.

Inside the first watchtower
Although barren of any decorations, this stone watchtower is a warm and
welcome sight. You notice a couple of cots where the sentries sleep when off-
duty, and a few personal items lying around. To the east lies a door leading
back out into the frigid wasteland, and above you are stairs leading to the
top of the tower.

The top level of a watchtower
This part of the tower is as sparsely furnished as the ground floor is. A
small fire roars here, keeping the room barely above freezing, and a couple of
arrow-slits in the walls offer a narrow view of the surrounding forests,
although they let in a little too much of a cold breeze.

(Glowing) (Humming) A blazing fire roars here, warming the room.

(Translucent) A lithe reptilian creature clad in aquamarine robes fixes you with
an intense gaze.
A sentry rests here, watching for any suspicious activity from the wasteland.
