It seemed like during the whole thing you just asked to be reinducted. It looked more he was testing you. He even pretty much tried to occ tell you roleplay choatic, he might as well be saying, "I want you to be choatic."

After that you should have some idea what he was up too and turned up your choatic roleplaying a couple of notches. It really looked like a test to me. Sure it sucked that he just sprang it upon you, but isn't that what part of being choatic is all about? Plus the imm was pretty choatic to me, out of the blue theif quoata has filled? I would have busted a gut laughing if that happened to me. If you RP through it you could have just as easily been reinducted.
