I think battleragers are catching onto the fact that every single assailant of the village just spams plague, ooh which defenders can cure..so the purpose is to try and increase defender numbers which are rather helpful because you can gangbang mobs but not helpful versus players who can just assrape defenders (other than thieves/assassins)
