If just looking at numbers, then yes it was fine. But did it show any courage? Did he have any fear of taking even one point of damage? No. Thalen and his treant tanked all the zombies, golem, mummy, and necro while the "courageous" rager sat there and legsweeped and tripped. Sorry, reminds me of something my cowardly thief in D&D would do, let the rest of the party take the hits while I make the occasional half-hearted jabs from the back line and run and hide if I ever get hit.
