...getting someone out of your range killed in this fashion is as close to a rules violation as you can get without actually breaking a rule. There's nothing redeeming in an IC/roleplaying sense about this action that can make it worthwhile or wholesome, or make it something that contributes to the MUD. I can see where an evil person might get sadistic pleasure out of causing someone else this sort of pain, but it should either be limited to people in their range (who can extract revenge, etc) or should involve no intentionally caused death. Just my opinion.
