After the mummy rescued Havilahd, he didn't parry or dodge any more hits from Havilahd, which means that Havilahd wasn't assisting, and just casting spells behind his pets. In fact, I think Hratnak did try to redirect, but couldn't because Havilahd wasn't in the fight after the rescue.
