At the base of this huge dais are strewn the skulls of hundreds of defeated mages. Those found just at the base of the heap are ancient and polished, their ivory giving the ground a snowy look, while those at the top are less decorative; hair skin, and mummified, putrefied flesh still clings to the newest additions.
