Assuming that two steps in, their only water source doesn't freeze and shatter. *grumble* *bonk self* The other time, I made it through to the other side without aid. (Two groupmates eventually joined me, but I met with them on the "far side" of the swirling fog.)

I'm pretty sure the only non-Rager-friendly item I used was stone skin, and Rager resist makes up for that.

Hint: Actually killing all those transmuters would be really inefficient. And it's a nasty maze.
