set in the black stone walls to the north. At least forty mean abreast
could fit through the gateway at once, allowing guards to move swiftly. The
gates are made of a hard wood, paneled in the familiar black steel. Guards
stand before the gate, barring passage. Looking up around you, you also see
guards mounted above you on the wall with arrows nocked. The guards give you
an evil stare, as if you were trespassing. You may leave the palace grounds
to the south, or seek entrance to the palace here.
