No argument that the Prisoner's Dilemma is a much more accurate reflection of the idea, though. For some reason I assumed the TotC was a more widely-known idea than the PD. . .probably because I picked up the TotC in a social sciences context and the PD in a computer science context.

First person to reference greedy heuristics, the dining philosophers problem, or Amdahl's law (appropriately) in a forum post wins a cookie.
