I think one interesting thing about this log is that you're seeing two characters fighting who aren't at all used to real opposition. I can say from experience that it's both a pretty neat and a pretty scary moment when you bust out the set of tactics you've worked up that have up to that point wiped out everyone you fight in situation X -- and find out that they aren't holding up against that particular opponent. I'd be willing to bet if that fight happened a second time, you'd see some new ideas from both sides.
Peroleth, in this log, is better prepared and wearing much better gear (including at least one unique item) than almost any conjurer you can expect to fight. (Though, that probably goes both ways.)

I can't even begin to comment on the tactical errors made by Gergran.

But you'll notice he also says he couldn't keep either. Still definitely a victory for Peroleth.

I think The Arcane would probably kick ass with the much-belittled gnome dagger spec warrior.

Only thing can really say there is to experiment and try to pay attention to what works and doesn't and why.
That, and be wary of taking advice. Playing a rager bard based on the tactics of half the rager bards I've seen is tantamount to trying to construct a globe based on the advice of the flat earth society.
> 2 they word every single time
There are some things you can do about that. The very simplest is to start figuring out where their recall is, cruise out there and beat them down, but there are other better ideas as well (some are specific to what you are).

Yes, but it doesn't do what you want. :p

It's not plain luck, I'll tell you that much.
For the quickest way to start guessing at some of the factors, sing it in a room with as many people in your pk as possible. :P
