In that time (I dont know what rank you are and therfore skills you have).. you could have caltraps/kotegaeshi/kansetsuwaza and nerved
this means our warrior probably isnt wearing both weapons, so he cant riposte/flourintine.. he also cant dodge for shit because his dex is crap at this stage.

also you do damage with all the skills mentioned (apart from nerve).....
