No, it's not really. I didn't mean to imply you couldn't come up with a scenario...here's my line of thinking.
You can go two ways, use the blanket immortal to do it or use a mob. Personally, I think using a mob doesn't make a lot of sense, because the power comes from the gods, not the paladin guildmaster. However, since many immortals use mobs to empower I guess I can't argue too much. If you used a mob, you could certainly work in an explanation much better.
If you go the other way and use the 'immortal' route I think giving an explanation might be harder. It might make more sense, even rp sense, to just push the button as an angry god who doesn't see any reason to explain things to the fucking up mortal. I think that's what Scar was trying to say.
I wouldn't have done it the way this god did either, but I'm not sure it's fair to say they didn't roleplay.
