As you may or may not know, Snare is not a skill
which requires a target. She stumbled into it.
Now ask yourself, if you stumbled into a snare
totally defenseless and the Ranger in question spared
your life and wanted to talk, would you turn around
and murder him? I don't think I would.
I would actually enjoy the opportunity, maybe that's
just me.
