Next time you fight a conji, run to the strongest non-aggro mob in your area and wait for the conji to come there. If he follows you, this will take away one of his elementals once it does an area attack. *Then* you can pull him away from them and use some tactics. Choke if you want to get away, eyejab maybe, etc. etc.
