1) Zorszaul clearly knows what the hell he's doing. I'd say he's one of the best roleplayers I've encountered, but he's not solely famous for his roleplaying skills. The man can PK.
2) He has locate object, so he knows where some of his useful lil' toys are. He also knows where good substitutes for them are, in case they aren't in when he's on.
3) He is fully capable of killing their current owners to take them back, mob or PC. Necromancers are good at that, and he's good for a necromancer.
4) You could kill him, strip him of all his gear, and he would be back on his feet in no time. Why? See #1. Gear is temporary. Skill is everything. A skilled player can get good gear easily. A well-geared player will not become more skilled overnight.
5) Cabal powers are icing on the cake for him. Go ahead- take the Equation. Feel safe? You shouldn't. Dopple's a cute trick, as are the other powers, but he has never been -dependent- on them.
6) A naked, semi-skilled Lich is still scary. Heck, TotW has made some excellent points as to why even Desanguina was scary- a non-liched poorly-practiced one-trick pony of a necromancer. Zorszaul is neither naked nor semi-skilled, and is more than a bit smarter than Desanguina.
7) Subject box small, text box big.
