They can't parry mace for crap. Bash them not to keep them there, but to keep them from dirt/disarm/calt/nerve/poison/kot/kans/any of the kicks.

Usually two bashes (4 rounds of maces unanswered by his commands) was enough to send them fleeing...Assassins REALLY dont like maces.
