I remember Sebeok leaving a note for us that expressly

If this was mentioned, it was never communicated to me by
Sebeok, Uller, Voss, Hilaene or Pikel.

Plus, my character of the time was intrigued by Neria, and
her choice.

The point being... the way my character was played he wouldn't
have attempted to kill Neria outright because she was a drow.
If we had roles at that time, I would have put something in it.
